Jim Buckley, John collins, Dave Pratt and Bill Cameron - by Ann Wyman

All excited about the possibility of a media event Ted Shoulberg arranged for us to row the Hoh in the Head of the Lake Novemeber 2, 2014.

Matt Lacey and Bill Clifford at the Pocock Center were very happy to take the Hoh off the ceiling and let us rig and row it in the race.

We assembled a mixed crew, Bill Cameron and Dave Pratt of Ancient Mariners and John Collins and Jim Buckleyu of the Rat Island club. We were the oldest crew - by eleven years - in the whold race which involved over 400 boats. And probably we rowed the oldest boat too since the Hoh was built in 1958.

Unfortunately we finished fourth out of five in our class. I thought we'd win handily. anyway it was great fun. - Jim Buckley
