1973 Pocock Mid-weight Teardrop Single
Hugh Lade sold boat to Tom Apel in Oklahoma City

No serial number, consensus has it built by George. "1973" is etched into rigger plates. Hull is one piece of red cedar, with two professionally repaired patches. Wood beading and keel nails per George's preference. Extra pair of bronze oarlocks, plus extra C2 plastic locks.

Purchased from an east coast sculler in 2002, I believe I"m the second owner. Maximum crew weight about 175 lb. The shell is housed at Lake Washington Rowing Club in Seattle, available for inspection or rows most days. Contact Hugh Lade or 206 697 0504
